| Area Rugs |
Welcome to Rugs Concept, our mission is to offer you information and resources for area rugs.
Years ago, area rug was defined as a handmade piled or flat woven fabric made from natural fibers (most commonly wool or silk). But this definition has widened in recent years to include beautiful machine made rugs. Genuine "Oriental rugs" come from the “Rug Belt” of Afghanistan, China, India, Iran, Nepal, Pakistan, Romania, Tibet, Turkey, and some of the southern territories of the old Soviet Union (like Azerbaijan and Armenia).
Now, many well known flooring manufacturers such as Nourison Rugs, 828 Rugs, and Shaw Rugs have introduced variety of Power Loom rugs that are competing very well with the Genuine Oriental rugs. These manufacturers also carry many beautiful hand made rugs brought from all over the world regions.
There are many stores and galleries for area rugs around the world but the web is becoming main source for finding reasonably priced area rugs. One of the web sites that we found with great selection and prices is
rugstown.com. They had the most comprehensive contemporary and traditional
area rugs collections that fit almost any place. With many styles and colors, we are sure that you will find the rugs that you have been looking for.
